HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Comments

Can anyone else make this work? Nothing here.

Thanks Dave! Just like the real thing, except without my car getting coated with ash and spent fuses.

Going to show this to my daughter tomorrow and crank up the volume so I can watch her cats scatter for cover.

(Superfluous post, only so I can be the fourth on The Fourth.)

Anyone else remember the 1980's video game Missile Command? For some reason this reminds me of Missile Command.

It didn't work for me. Java issues... But... Prayers and God's watchful eye for all those who are serving to insure our Independence. And all those who served in the past. There's nothin' liberal or conservative, Republican or Democrat, left or right about that. We're not a perfect Nation, but we are certainly a Nation worthy of celebrating. More so than virtually any other.

Apologies for missing Dave's birthday by half an hour. Happy B'day Dave. You are lucky to share it with several attractive ladies. Born the same day as Betty Buckley? Nothing personal, but she's holding up "just a little bit" better than you.

*flaps in for just a moment*

WayneHere, we missed it by THAT much! Happy Birthday, Dave! And many more!

*Joins WayneH in asking for blessings on all those who serve*

God Bless America! Happy 4th to all!

*flaps away*

Always a winner (not wiener), Dave! Happy fourth!!

And an especially happy Fourth to you, Judi!

Dangit Dave, I missed it too! Darwin was keeping me too busy. Happy birthday!

God bless us, everyone. ;)

And Happy 4th to you, Judi. Dealing with us folk is like trying to herd cats. Be sure to party hearty.

Happy (and belated) birthday, Dave! And thanks for the link!

Like Freemont, I was having Missile Command flashbacks while playing with "Fireworks."

Appropriately enough, I happened to have Heather Alexander's March of Cambreadth playing on Windows Media Player when I clicked on the link, which made a great complement to the explosive goodness...

Time for beddy-bye here on the right coast- 'night!

Off-topic: Don't open any e-mail that says "MAIL SERVER REPORT"--it's a VIRUS!

*sigh* Liberty is lovely, but there are always a few @$$holes who abuse it.

hooray! thanks, dave. great site.

OW! I think I blew off one of my fingers!

Happy fourth to all.....

*retrieves CJ's finger and re-attaches it using advanced surgical techniques involving duct tapes*

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!

Belated Happy Birthday, Dave!

Awesome game, Dave. By the way, happy B-day!

(My mom told me to punctuate this correctly.)

.
Never forget this day, when we won our Independence from the hateful French.

Or somebody.

Happy Birthday Yankee Doodle Dandies!
.

Happy Birthday Dave! It's #61 right? The fireworks as always are good.

Hap Birfday dave!!!
great fireworks......

Behave yourself, docling; your Mom apparently keeps tapes.

what WayneHere said way up there (insert up arrow cause I haven't had enough coffee yet to figure out how to do it myself.) I shook a soldier's hand yesterday and thanked him for serving. to all military AND civilians who've served - GOD BLESS and thank you!

Happy 4th of July to everyone!

God Bless those who made this day possible, those who've served and those who continue to serve our country! A grateful nation thanks you all!

TIME TO GET DRUNK AND BLOW SHIT UP!!!!

and ohhhhhhh look at all the purty lights....

*blink* *blink*

Dang! I forgot your b'day, Dave...I was with my son -- also Dave -- celebrating HIS 40th. (I'm sure you know the two of you also share your day with Tom Cruise. But then two outta three ain't bad:)

Belated birthday wishes, and happy Fourth to the whole wide blog!

o.O
Miss Cleo?

Didja notice the little banner at the top of the Bozo story? "Breaking News >> Former North Carolina Sen. Jesse Helms Dies at 86"

There's a joke in there somewhere about redundancy, but I'm too classy to go there.

Fixing JayP's runaway italics.

Whew. Thanks.
I was afraid there might be a italic stampede and I'd spend the whole day leaning 15 degrees to the right.
I'm already enough off-center as it is.

Who got their dates mixed up and said Dave's B'day was yesterday...hmmm? Well, me, but I was talking about someone else who made me do it! But Happy Fourth and Birthday to all who are so inclined!

ftr - Dave's birthday WAS yesterday. I don't think he can handle another one today, especially since he'd have to share it with George Steinbrenner. ;)

Happy 4th, everyone. A friend of mine has a great song for today right here. Click on 'Peace of Mind.'

yeah. that ole racist dog helms expired today. but too bad about the original bozo. helms, not so much.

Happy indolence codependents 4th of July, Mr. Blog, judi, and all bloglits and their families.

And thank you, all vets and active military folk, for keeping us free.

Have Joy!!!

Happy Fourth to all, and happy (late) birthday to Dave!

I was hoping it would be THOSE "fireworks"!

And Happy Birthday.

Ah, how I miss the old days, when a PirateBoy and PirateDad (aka "Stubby") would BSU (Blow "stuff" up) with great abandon. *sigh* Darn Homeland Security laws! Stay safe, everyone, and have a 5th on the 4th!
