THE GROWING PALM-FROND MENACE: AN UPDATE
In response to our earlier item about an armed robbery allegedly committed by a man brandishing a palm frond, Mike Pullin sends in this photograph, which he took in Hilo, Hawaii:
And the so-called "United States government" continues to do nothing.
(Mike notes that "Killer Palm Fronds" would be a good name for a rock band.)

I read somewhere that coconuts kill more people per year than sharks, and yet I am unafraid when I see them in the grocery store.
