It will come to him much later when he finds his name is no where to be found on the will.

OK, because the mom was cooperative they let her off the hook for the pot? What the heck is going on up in the Pacific Northwest?

...and the mother was not arrested. Maybe the three of them, brat, brain-dead overage hippie mom and dumb-as-a-box-of-rocks copy "mellowed out" together and decided "It's all good"...

In the Pacific NW, the weather is lousy but pot is decriminalized.
In Florida, the weather is great (except for the hurricanes) and people get shot over drugs.
I'm not sure which side is in better shape.

Rex, did a hippie do your mom? And why do you hate copies? What's the maximum age for being a hippie? Is it bad when it's all good? How big's the stick up yer butt? And say, did you happen to notice this is a humor site?
I know, don't feed the trolls, but sometimes they really deserve a scooby snack or two. Rots of ruck, Rex. Keep taking the Prozac.

Grounded? She's probably at the clinic right now saying, "what do you mean it's too late to get an abortion? He's not even 18!"

That was a distinctly Orwellian move by that kid.
"Children are indoctrinated to informing; to spy and report suspected thought-criminals — especially their parents."
Perhaps he'd prefer the company of hand-chosen foster parents?
