IF READING THE BLOG, AND COLUMNS ABOUT COLONOSCOPIES, IS NOT ENOUGH...

...soon you'll be able to find out more about Dave's World - in this case, a mythical place where Dave (albeit a much taller version) drives down to the newspaper office to hand over his column, in a manila envelope, to his editor. Who never, btw, not ever, looked like this.

(Thanks to the all-knowing, all-seeing Bert Franquiz)

u/w = under WATER. But, yeah, if she wants'em...

You mean the Girl Scouts ripped off the little Elven guys? That's very bad karma

*psst, jug - I'll screen 'em for ya. ;-D*

CJ, I'm a peanut butter patty gal myself. My roomie loves the Thin Mints, though!

Oooh, I'd have LOVED that mermaid! I live too far from the ocean. :(

I was afraid that's what you meant.

Jug, I have a Mermaid lamp. I'll e-mail you a pic of it, she's gorgeous.

Jug? And cold. heh.

You would have liked it for sure.

crossgirl once made a mermaid and I was so disappointed to find out it was already sold.

send me that one, too, bali! I love that stuff - especially cool lamps. I kinda collect 'em.

Cool, thanks Bali. I would like to see that.

One day, Jug...I can't wait.

I know what you mean bali.

Sorry, the 'one day'referred to you and me. The pics? Tomorrow, for you AND Diva.

Can I still come to the wedding?

Yes, you do...

I'm still jealous of you for getting to go to Pennsylvania, jug. *sigh*

Nite all; I blame you for sending me to bed hungry...bastids!

Sorry, CJ! *texts pizza and beer*

Of course you can still come to the wedding Bali. Heck, you can even come to the rehearsal lunch at the Black Eyed Pea on saturday. There will be alcohol involved. I think my new step mommy is Baptist, so we may have to drink vodka and tell her its water. But you have probably done that before.

K, all y'all, I gotta get some sleep. One of my scuba students commited suicide Friday night, and the funeral is in the AM. Some of you know why this is hard for me. I appreciate your prayers. I'm okay. G'night!

Diva, I'll send you a cheesteak next time I go to Philly. Either that or an Iron City beer next time I go to Pittsburgh

We used to have BEPs up here, but they all went out of business. I liked them.

Jug, you know me so well...

Good night bali. I'm right behind you. See you tomorrow. (and I will add you to the prayer list)
Good night tex, Diva, CJ

Oh, bali!!! I'm so sorry. Please accept my condolences and prayers. ((((((bali)))))) Get some sleep, Sweetie. It'll be a long day. Take care of yourself.

Night, jug. Think I'm signing off, too. Y'all have a good night!

(CJ - the blog is now free for a rant. Hop to it! =^D)

*zapping one last time*

(((((((bali)))))))) hugs for you, amiga!

Jug, WTG DAD!!!

Thin-crust pizza (pepperoni and bacon) and steak medium well. I don't need to know the cow just died and my meat is still moooing, thankuverymucho!

That is all!

Good night and sweet dreams to all!

Annie-you have achieved status as a goddess with me, having worked on Night Court. I would have paid THEM to do that. Of all the great laughs, my favorite was John Astin as Harry's dad. He played it as an altzhimered/mentally ill, but harmless, gentleman. And after doing something absurd , he would always say "But I'm feeling much better now." It became code amongst our "posse" in the 80's. Sorry for the full paragraph rather than a pithy one-liner, folks. It's like I'm channeling CJ.

Not a problem Wayne. I've been known to go off on a tangent now and then myself. I worked for a CBS affiliate in Waco back in 1997 and caught the reruns of it's last season. I still have a printout of the CBS commercial break times from the very last airing of the show somewhere in my stash o' stuff which I hoped to get autographed sometime.

Let me clarify, I caught the last season of "Dave's World", not "Night Court" which was an NBC product.

For pizza, Salvatore's around the corner, thin crust Godfather pizza, peperoni, salami, ham & bacon and oodles of mozarella, come hungry. Steak, pepper rubbed fillet, rare, from The Meat Company or Smith & Wolensky. We eat very well here in Johannesburg, ask Paris.

ps, Paris said she was amazed that our paparazzi were so well behaved.

'Mornin' all (or 'good evening', for those of you on my crazy, mixed up schedule). Afternoon, Mot!

I'm way too confused- I'm up all night and CJ is going to bed hungry.

*Places out danishes next to leftover pizza)

I just have to stay up a few more hours then can sleep the day away.

*finds a good airplane crash documentary to keep awake*

Oh, look! An Inconvenient Truth is on. That'll scare me awake.

...or not...

Morning, ladies. Or, in your cases, good evening.

Morning, CJ!

what ever happened to harry anderson anyway??? i loved dave's world, even tho it was pretty fictional......

Harry is a fixture in his old home town of New Orleans. Last I heard, he was trying to boost getting business-places back open and people coming back in.

Cool! I enjoyed this show when I had the chance, but wasn't able to see too many episodes.

Greeting, one and all. Looks like leftover steak and pizza for breakfast - woohoo!

*Looks around for surplus "s" to graft onto "Greeting". Fails to find one, substitutes a "5"*

Greeting5 back atchas!

Loved Night Court, didn't get to see too many of Dave's World either. (I think I was watching Magnum PI instead..shhhh).

Were you dreaming of giving Tom Selleck SiouxieSmacks?

jug, how'd you know?? :-)

*Pretends to represent SiouxieSmax so Texgal can ogle and pound the Selleck hiney*

ty, Waynehere @11:44, but I did very little on Night Court. A writer friend, Nancy Lee Myatt, worked on it and let me sit in and pitch lines to help me learn the craft. So hold onto that goddess tiara for now. I may need it later. ;)

*holds Annie's goddess tiara*

Fingers off the stones, Scott. Hold it by the rim or I'll break your hands.
Thanks, sweetie. :)

urk, a double post. Mas cafe, por favor.

cafe para Annie!

muchas gracias, chiquita.

*holds Annie's goddess tiara, carefully*

*puts pilfered stones back*

*okay, all of them*

AWBH: your tiara may be a brass one but you're already a demi-goddess in this venue. You probably already know this guy and his work and blog but just in case not:
