What's the bad news? (other than the name of the new ruler)

"Turkmen culture" WBAGNFAn opera.
(Dave is running at a punnishing pace today.)

Annie, this is exhausting, is it not?

daisymae - 'opera' is the bad news.(Dave set me up to say that.)

"Send in the clowns...."

Too bad they haven't lifted the ban on unpronounceable names.

Awww, I like opera. My two favorites are "What's opera doc" (kill da wabbit, KILL DA RABBIT) and "The Rabbit of Seville" (What would you want with a wabbit?).

Same here, Amer. That's about as close as I'll get to liking opera.
Fiiiiiiiigaaaaaaaaaaaarooooooooooooooooo!

I like opera. I also like that they said opera and circus in the same breath. In the 1800 & 1900's theater & opera was more circus-like.
Today, it's tail-gating.

Ditto what Annie said at 10:21 ('punishing pace').
Whew!

Yes here in Turkmenistan, where we really put the MEN in TurkMENistan, we will be having our wives perform instead of animals, thus the ban can now be lifted.

Just as long as you keep your women on a leash.

Double good news for I Pagliacci. BTW, was January named after Turkmenbashi, his mother, or his cat?

I prefer something like THIS.
um...warning.

Maybe the above post should go on the "Goth" thread.

Again with shots at opera. It hurts my heart.
Posted by: Moon | January 24, 2008 at 04:30 PM
It's ok, Moon. Opera hurts my head.
