Wasn't there an old character in Popeye - Ham Gravy?

Yummo, as RR would say. Who doesn't want to drink Dirt?
Posted by: Jeff Meyerson | November 12, 2007 at 06:17 PM
he may have been the FIRST character..
Posted by: pogo | November 12, 2007 at 06:18 PM
Mmmmm, can't decide whether to try "Turkey and Gravy" or "Dinner Roll" first.
Erm, *blarg!*

With flavors like dirt and perspiration, the ad below it is apt:

... although eggnog sounds nice, with a little rum

Jones Soda is awesome, but I've never had the guts to try any of the bizarre seasonal stuff. People buy it, though. I've seen bits about the Turkey soda on Food Network. Ick.

Well I guess I can't have any. Pity I'm a Jew. Otherwise I could drink gallons of that soda, which is probably chock full 'o nutrients, but I guess I can't. You all will just hav to drink the stuff for me.

Ham soda? No thanks! But I'm working on the prototype for SPAM soda, which I am sure will be a huge hit in Hawaii.

Edgar,
You may be in luck as it's kosher!
My co-worker in LA was orthodox, and everytime we went to lunch he'd ask us to bring him a bacon cheeseburger. I miss him sometimes.
Sound's like Jones Soda is stealing flavor ideas from Bertie Botts. Alas, Earwax!

Posted by: pogo | November 12, 2007 at 06:29 PM
If it's anything like their candycorn soda....pass.

-What? no fruitcake soda?
Posted by: Vic Tumofsoycumstance | November 12, 2007 at 06:33 PM
I've got the Jones for some BACN soda, but I'll drink it later.
Posted by: danceswithvowels | November 12, 2007 at 06:34 PM
I'll be sure and tell my friend who has his jaw wired shut this holiday season; now he can be nauseated along with the rest of us.

This type of "ham" beverage sounds a lot more tasty to me.
Posted by: Doc Rick | November 12, 2007 at 06:36 PM
It's kosher, but that won't stop Jewish people from feeling guilty for drinking it.
Posted by: Wench Lizzy | November 12, 2007 at 06:40 PM
Doc R-
I've downed a few of those kind of "HAMS" in the past, and I'm not so sure...

Who wouldn't want a mouthful of Sports Cream? Memories of geeks and jocks and other nostalgia.

BTW, is it true Listerene is coming out with a similar line of Holiday mouthwashes?

*SNORK!@ their Antacid soda for the Thanksgiving pack*
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | November 12, 2007 at 06:44 PM
Yes, Vic. They are coming out with a series celebrating law enforcement that taste like Doc Holiday, J. Edgar Hoover, and Barney Fife.
Posted by: CJrun | November 12, 2007 at 07:26 PM
So true, Wench. I already feel guilty just for thinking about wanting some. ;)

How can ham be kosher?

and Yuck!
Posted by: Kristina L. | November 12, 2007 at 08:36 PM
From Mr. Howard. Nothing says Happy Hanukkah like a ham soda.

Primus should get licensing rights - they had an album and song called Pork Soda out years ago.
