What about a FL DL for this speeder?

That speed would look even less bad if they converted it into mach number, or warp factor.

"One in six Irish drivers has never passed an on-the-road test, according to Transport Department statistics."
A reciprocal licening agreement is being worked out between Ireland and Florida.

I'm sure if they used an abacus, it would be even lesser badder...right?
"That's like..20 beads/hr...no biggie!"

Dav...one out of two SoFla drivers hasn't passed a test in 60 years.

Bet that made the driver glad all over.

Hmm... I guess Irish judges don't have to take math to get appointed, eh?

It's good to know there's another country that hates the metric system as much as we do.
GO IRELAND! (in mph, that is)

El - they hate it because it's British.
GO IRELAND!

He lowered the charge from to driving carelessly, and fined him euro1,000 ($1,450)
The fine doesn't look so bad converted to Euros either.

112 mph wasn't as bad, huh? Sounds like a Florida DL is in order - along with a NJ one for the speed part...

"McLoughlin suggested it was relatively safe to have shattered the legal road limit at the time, citing good weather, light traffic and the road's unusual straightness."
Unusual straightness? You mean the road is usually more twisty? Guinness must be involved.

I told MB(RH?) of this link ... as to the drivin' talents and characteristics of Irish drivers, and VERY twisty roads ... she wuz not surprised ... or amused ... she sorta thinks of Irish drivers (and tourists there frum other European countries) as ... sorta nutso? ... of course, WE were PERFECT drivers, when there ... (I went for almost four days before I missed an exit @ a roundabout ... which, to be honest, wuz more luck than talent or brains ...)

I remember going to traffic court once, and there was a dude who was trying to argue his reckless driving ticket. He'd been going 100 mph, and was saying that he thought he was going 100 kilometers per hour. He was foreign. The judge didn't buy it.
