First not to bid.

The funniest part is that someone actually bid $14 mil for it! With a debt of $300 bil, I don't see a very good return potential...

Although I am willing to rethink my first decision if the chocolate companies are included.

Can I put South Florida up for bids? Maybe Fidel would be interested.

Phil - I thought he already owned half of South FL.

With the increasing role of private buyout groups, they could acquire the three regions, load up the debt onto one of the three and spin it off to go bankrupt while the other two regions would be able to achieve new heights of profitability.

Sort of like how the newspaper industry is run.

Yeah, Whatever, I wuz gonna suggest to DimWitte that with that leverage, the new owner would have a LOT of tax deductions ...

Ya know, Phantom Blogger?? it was pretty annoying before with when you didn't have a name...it's MORE so now.

*grabs the extra "with"*

Brussels had bridges.

Hmm, this 'ebay' thing . . . must check it out some time . . .

*SNORK* @ MKJ - Yeah. Why didn't YOU get credit for finding this in the first place?!? LOL

Yes, please do check out EBAY. I invented it you know.

Will they throw in Luxembourg?
