Petrified?
If that serpent ate a rock, it's gonna need some Pepto™ IMHO ...

The snake is suspected to have entered the bathroom through the toilet bowl. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
What, is a snake in the toilet a subscription bonus?

I had a ginger cat that would've severely lacerated the snake before it even had a chance to coil itself around the cat.

I think we need "don't click on this link" warnings for sensitive animal lovers -- especially cats, since for some reason some people (no one here, I'm sure) think its funny when cats get hurt.
I really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY, REALLY didn't need to read this.
The poor cat....
I need to go home soon and cuddle my little 17 year old kitty -- who is my family, not my pet.

(((AmerinParis))) for the negative vibes from the original link ...

The above was a bit incoherent, but I suspect you get my drift. Sorry to not be funny, but my cat's getting frail and elderly, my Dad's got major, major health problems, and my grandmother's not in great shape either. So it doesn't take much to get me blubbering these days.

Those ((( ))) are friendly hugs, AiP ... merely trineta be a pal ...

As a cat lover, I find this really disturbing as well.
However...I have no choice but to *SNORK* @ mud for his poetic contribution. I've missed those snake pomes! LOL

*Amused chuckle @ typo of Unmanity ... at least ... hopin' it's a typo ... it is, innit? Please?*
*Not, at present age of self, that it matters ... merely the principle of the whole concept ...*

O, never would we hint such a thing....who do I go to for the "men's" jokes, hmmmmmmm?

You know, I was reading the other day a page about someone whose first pet was a pet king cobra. He was talking about how much he loved the snake and vice-versa. I almost submitted it, but it didn't seem to have a whole lot to do with anything. Much like this post, actually.
Here's the page, if you're interested.
Anyway, I was focused on snakes for some reason (don't know why; I can't stand them). Maybe my point is this wouldn't have happened if the family had a cobra for a pet (they're ophiophagous), but is it really worth it?
