SUMMER IS COMING
Soon it'll be time to take the kids on an educational vacation.

I do love a good block party, and if it's dark enough (and cold enough) I certainly won't turn up my nose at a good beer. Stout is my preference, definitely.

well needless to say that an open pasture and Lone Star Light doth not even get within a million light years of a good German block party I'm sure. Although after 3 cases of L.S. Lite you can still walk straight...

Where the heck is the cleaning crew tonight?
*tosses empties, dumps ashtrays*
*puts various items in the lost and found: two trashy bodice rippers with blurk's picture on the cover, a toothbrush and pair of footie pj's with pink bunny ears.*
*Returns Hammie's sheep to the closet yet again.*

As usual I'm between the late niters and the early risers, dang!
Message for Med, on Saturday we will have the final game of the Super 14 Rugby competition and it will be contested by 2 South African sides for the first time ever. Last weekend the Bulls from Pretoria (about 50 miles up the road from Johannesburg) beat the Crusaders from Canterbury, New Zealand, and the Sharks from Durban (SA's version of Miami) beat the Blues from Auckland, New Zealand. A total shut-out of the New Zealand teams, who've dominated the compettion over the years, is seen as a major shift in the balance of power of world rugby. On top of this, 2007 is a Rugby World Cup year, and yes, the US and Canada will be represented.
