Maybe it has something to do with cocktail consumption. You try reading like an 11-year-old after half a dozen margaritas!

First to not be illiterate!

All I know is that I have to be pretty intoxicated to kareoke...so the words are a tad blurry as they scroll by.

This is so sad....quick - somebody write a vapid Christmas song about it. With really easy lyrics.

"I'm Dreaming of Ebonics Christmas"
"The Little Dummy Boy"
"Silver Vowels"
"Here We Come Phonetically"(the Wassail Song)

Give my 11 year old half a dozen Margaritas and she is totally illiterate

You mean that Jimi Hendrix doesnt want us to excuse him while he kisses this guy?

Had to throw in a old Daves World quote.

The Department of Education has named the program "Leave No Tone-Deaf Drunk Behind".

What they should say is "millions of adults who have the inclination to sing karaoke, cannot read". It just gowes withowt saeing. I luv careokie.

classic songs like 'Summer Nights' from Grease (starring John Travolta)

That's like calling "Wonderful Christmastime" a classic. Just DOES NOT COMPUTE.

nok three times on the celin if ya want meeeeeee, twic on the pipes if ya want me to leeeeaveeeee.

Just stick to "Land of 1000 dances"and "Hey Jude".

The lyrics are easy:
na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na. (repeat)

They are not writing songs the way they used to.

What does it matter that they can't read? Most I've heard can't sing either.
