I tried that with my Mother-In-Law, but by the time I returned, they said "The gas is free! Just TAKE her!!!!!!!"

...with friends like that...

"Two hours after the 20-year-old driver left, the gas station called the police, who interrogated the stranded "deposit" before releasing her. Police are investigating the driver on suspicion of fraud."

What, the friend wasn't worth a full tank of gas?

Police are investigating the driver on suspicion of fraud.

Ya think?

Dang... remember when it used to just cost an arm and a leg?

boy the blog is at full gallop today, even with dilated pupils.

Betsi, you said a mouthful. I turned around for just a moment and came back to 10 posts. Thankfully I'm not working today. Mind you, if I had been in the office, my behaviour wouldn't be any different...

*GASP* I didn't double post! It's the infernal bot! I swear!

*SLINKS AWAY*

I'll bet that the 'deposit friend' was one Sour Kraut. (rimshot)

I went into the gas station today and asked for five dollars worth of gas.
The clerk farted and gave me a receipt.

New sign at the gas station: "Cash or credit card only. Human deposits not accepted."

The station could, of course, put the "friend" up on e-bay...

I'm sure when they picked the guy up, he said: "But officer, I was only fueling!"
sorry, i couldn't resist.

really.
