Ugh. Glad I'm well away from Idaho. Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?

Woohoo! First!
Posted by: Nurse Tammy | February 12, 2006 at 01:34 PM
i just had an incident...involving stairs
Posted by: bowiefan!!!!!! | February 12, 2006 at 01:42 PM
Question for the Blog: which ranks lower on the evolutionary scale, Bessie or Manilow? And which would be scarier to find in one's home? Just wondering.
Posted by: Nurse Tammy | February 12, 2006 at 01:42 PM
(really obscure reference alert)
"Bessy, I'm a little messy."
[Sorry, that's all I got ... oh ... Hi, Nurse Tammy ...)
Posted by: U.O | February 12, 2006 at 01:43 PM
Incidents involving stairs are no fun at all. Unless it's the reactions of one's younger siblings to the words one uses on the way down...
Posted by: Nurse Tammy | February 12, 2006 at 01:44 PM
lol..mines involved hitting the door at the bottom, and swearing in joy because it wasnt open.....bowie!
Posted by: bowiefan!!!!!! | February 12, 2006 at 01:45 PM
lo, that door is really hard
Posted by: bowiefan!!!!!! | February 12, 2006 at 01:46 PM
... and Hi, bowiefan ... I wuzn't ignoring you ... din't see y'all there when I posted ...
Posted by: U.O | February 12, 2006 at 01:47 PM
Hello U.O., keep right on scaring people in the lobby/breakfast area. I used to clerk at a hotel, and I always enjoyed watching someone snork. (Sadistic? Maybe.)You might make the poor breakfast attendant's morning. :)
Posted by: Nurse Tammy | February 12, 2006 at 01:47 PM
Tnx, Tammy ... it was partly the poor mood I wuz in from last nite (getting lost on and off the freeway for about two hours, and other stuff) plus the great comments, of course, that sorta pushed me over the limit on the giggle-counter ...
Posted by: U.O | February 12, 2006 at 01:52 PM
I'm getting to that point on the giggle-counter... I work nights and I'm up past my bedtime, even if I am on Pacific time now.
*sigh* Why does this blog have to be so much more entertaining than sleep, anyway?
Posted by: Nurse Tammy | February 12, 2006 at 01:54 PM
lol, no probs,
any one here like watching viva la bam?
Posted by: bowiefan!!!!!! | February 12, 2006 at 01:54 PM
OMG Why do they always give them "cute" names that end in "ssy"? Why don't they name them something more appropriate like "Strangler" or "Rattle Fang" or "Mouse Eater"? I mean isn't a python the one that would sooner crush you to death as look at you??!!!
I will not be sleeping until Bessy (aka Strangler) has been found!
Posted by: Lisa Bisa Fo Fisa | February 12, 2006 at 01:57 PM
But did they check *in* the owners' bed? I grew up with a boa constrictor, monitor lizard, and iguana (thanks to one of my brothers). You should always look *in* the bed when these types of things go missing. I speak from experience.

Posted by: bowiefan!!!!!! | February 12, 2006 at 02:30 PM
I have seen almost all the episodes, and yes the limo racing the lambo is fantastic. Ryan Dunn is my favorite guy, he seems to innocent to hang with that crowd, like when they made Dunn ride all the way to New Orleans on the moped lol
Posted by: ©hris | February 12, 2006 at 02:33 PM

Posted by: bowiefan!!!!!!!!!! | February 12, 2006 at 02:49 PM
I was gonna post something dismissive about people who were worried about a li'l ol' python, but then I started thinking: 8 and a half feet. Huh. That's about from my computer to...
Oh. Never mind.

Nurse Tammy - I think Manilow ranks lower on the evolutionary scale, but if I had to choose between Manilow hiding under my couch or an 8 1/2 foot python hiding under my couch, I think I'd pick Manilow - I'm pretty sure I could take him - not so sure about the snake..
Posted by: TCK | February 12, 2006 at 03:00 PM
but on to more important things - where the heck's judi? last I heard Dave was threatening to fire her for posting something before he did, and now she's gone!
Dave? Do you have something to tell us?
Posted by: TCK | February 12, 2006 at 03:01 PM
Judi's in Turin. She's been tapped to replace Michelle Kwan. You should see her triple axel rose.
Posted by: Annie Where-but-here | February 12, 2006 at 03:26 PM
Ugh. These people either need to keep their snakes in the cage or leave them at the pet store.
TCK~ Perhaps she's having a long-awaited and well-earned vacation with a scantily clad cute male who hands her drinks while she soaks up sun on a beach.
Posted by: Bumble | February 12, 2006 at 03:28 PM
*snork* at Annie - actually, I'd pay good American currency to see that
Bumble - I hope that she is - judi deserves to be waited on by a scantily clad cute male - maybe one a those big muscle heads that can makes his pecs dance
Posted by: TCK | February 12, 2006 at 03:31 PM
TCK - good point about Manilow and the snake. The thing is, with the snake, the worst that could happen is she crushes you to death in your sleep.
Manilow might sing.
Me, I'll take the snake.

The LocalNews 8 news team could use a little more perk. They seem a bit low on the perk quotient.
Posted by: Chuck | February 12, 2006 at 06:11 PM
I dunno about the scantily clad male, but I do know Blessed St. Judi has been to ... um ... Texas, I think ... that's whut I think she told me ... and if I can't believe whut Judi tells me, whut can I believe ... (rhetorical question ... no answer needed ... merely sayin' ...)
Posted by: U.O | February 12, 2006 at 06:11 PM
TCK...St. Judi just showed up on the 'egret' thread!!! I think she heard us talking about her.
Posted by: Betsy | February 12, 2006 at 06:14 PM
Yup, I checked ... Judi said Dallas ... so that's why I assumed "Texas" ... HOWever, she did say somethin' about lady friends and not anythin' about scantily clad males ... even as refreshment servers ...
(OK, I'll quit showin' off ... I'd only made sure that Judi and Dave knew they were invited to the SoCal DBBLOG gathering ... even tho none of us even dreamt either of them would be there ... and ... she sent me a very nice "regrets" note, only natural, bein' the true Lady that she is ... with good manners and all ... )

Is it just me, or do bowiefan!!!!!! and chris seem to be using Nadsat, the language of A Clockwork Orange? They should be tolchocked about the plotts and litsos real horrorshow 'til they keep their rookers off their keyboards and the contents of their nearly empty rassoodocks to themselves...if you know what I mean;)
Posted by: Stupendous Man | February 12, 2006 at 09:05 PM
Huh?
Posted by: slyeyes | February 12, 2006 at 09:11 PM
Gotcha, Stupe' ... mebbeso, Kimosabe ...
Posted by: U.O | February 12, 2006 at 10:19 PM
what sly said. but, yeah.
Posted by: just sayin' | February 13, 2006 at 01:28 AM
Translation: They should be knocked about (tolchocked=beaten, litsos=faces, rookers=hands, horrorshow=very well) and made to keep their thoughts (rassoodocks=minds, as in make up your rassoodock) to themselves.
Notice I was smiling at the end of that post.

BOT, Folks. BTW, Rexburg is NOT in Southern Idaho, it's 75 miles from Yellowstone....
But, it IS South of the Nazi-White-Supremist-Mark Furman-Idiot party enclave of the Near Canada section. Whew!
A Python shall not last long in Rexburg, home of the BYU-I whatevers...EB
