Great quote: "At 9,000 lbs., she was slightly heavy for an elephant."

Is that how Kirstie Alley lost her weight, by hiding food around her mansion?

...zoo officials and an Idaho company studied mining equipment and treadmills used for race horses and racing camels...
Since when does anyone use mining equipment on race horses and racing camels?

maybe they can get the e'phant to power the electricity for the zoo while she's at it. can she go on 'biggest losers' when she's done? but maybe she isnt fat. she could be retaining water.

She lost 1000 pounds by using a treadmill???!!!
When I used my treadmill all I did was break my foot - hmmmph!
