Okay, let's just all agree on no "who cut the cheese" comments

The winner was carted off in a stretcher? Wow.

MKJ, don't worry. The guy said the cheese was definitely NOT for cutting...er...eating.

"There were a lot less casualties than normal."

Ya' know - just sprained ankles and spinal injuries. The usge.

This would be a great event to have at the Windsor Zucchini Festival, provided Windsor has a hill. Maybe they could build one...out of Zucchini!

'Course on the other side of the pond here in the good ol' USofA, a similar event would have been cancelled long ago due to the inability of the locals to get approval to hold the event due to the city attorney's concerns about liablity concerns. And don't get me started about cheese cutting insurance rates!

Behold the power of cheese.

they should combine this with the zucchini thing. ....

in the u.s. we could roll cheese wheels down a giant halfpipe while skateboarders try to retrieve it.

the winner would be Head Cheddar Shredder

Who moved my cheese?

There's a separate event for the women!!!
Gender discrimination! Women should be allowed the same opportunity for spinal injuries as men!

I see a class action!

p.s. the other pictures are hilarious!

Cheese...the misunderstood dairy product...

"This cheese is going straight in a cupboard when I get home. It's definitely not for eating."

Well, several dozen men just chased it down a hill, shedding blood and teeth en route, and tackled it at the bottom. What's not to eat? Do you have any idea what a cheese left in a cupboard smells like after a few days? Worse that the cheese chasers, even.

What is the prize for winning, besides multiple injuries, I mean?

I saw videos of last years event on my bros crapcam. He lives near Gloucester. It is incredible. The hill is quite large and very steep. The British are insane.

Jessica R,
the "prize" is that stoopid thing they chased
down the hill!
