Where is everyone today? Out fishing? If you are out fishing, I hope you took your "fish taser". It sure beats the old "bait n wait" fish catching method.

Would Feral Goldfish BAGNFARB?
Posted by: go_fish | May 29, 2005 at 10:11 AM
Yes, Feral Goldfish would be an excellent NFARB. Maybe one of those indie bands where everyone wears clothes from goodwill.
Posted by: daisyj | May 29, 2005 at 10:44 AM
I'm partial to Feral Duck myself.

Feral burps do well by me.

That's not at all what I thought a biologist would look like. That's a really big snakehead he has there.
Posted by: Peri | May 29, 2005 at 12:21 PM
Look at the way he's hoiking that thing!

Now the local fish are scaring the hell out of the terrorist bastards — and everyone else.

The fish we have in our fishtank look kinda friendly, but when I put my hand in the fishtank, they bite it, and that hurts! Maybe they didn't wanted to take my hand when I wanted to be friends.

You guys beat me to it. "Feral Goldfish" is a fantastic NFARB.
D'Art - Good call.

The mention of "the occasional piranha" worries me more.
Posted by: Lisa | May 29, 2005 at 03:48 PM
speaking of that, would Occasional Piranha BAGNFARB?

This story reminds me of two great jokes...
1. Dan Quayle thought Roe vs. Wade were two options for crossing the Potomac.
2. What was the last thing General George Washington said before his men crossed the Potomac? "Get in the boat, men."
I know. I should be doing standup in a hospital waiting room. You aren't the first to suggest it.

The Potomac river fish population sounds EXACTLY like the DC area population.
(obviously, the snakeheads are terrorists and MUST be stopped at all costs. Where's Jack?)

I thought Feral Goldfish sounds like either the next CBS Movie, or a Jewish prizefighter.

Dang. I'm only a [very] occassional observer of this blog, yet it took only minutes to figure out what BAGNFARB. Yay!
Meanwhile, are snakehead good eating? Maybe the bass fishing industry should start looking into diversification...

Hmmmmm... Invading spider crabs *and* snakeheads. It seems to me that we should be preparing for a seafood buffet...

I've been to the Potomic. The "Star Wars" bar had a much better band.

And you guys wonder why we Southerners can often be found in various drunken states "on the river". Hot Scientists. So there.
Posted by: Amanda B. | May 29, 2005 at 09:06 PM
No offense, but I'm not sure if anybody ever wondered, "why we Southerners can often be found in various drunken states "on the river"." Although, now I never will...
