If it seems to take a very long time for your post to load, just hit 'stop' -- your post will still make it.

snif: oh, no, I won't try THAT again . . .

Wendy Foster, a food and safety officer, urged staff to make sure they washed their hands and emphasised the importance of "thorough washing and sanitising of chefs' knives".
Emphasised?
Salmon poached with liquorice? That doesn't sound delicious and fun, that sounds disgusting.

GOK = God Only Knows. I have a mac at home, at work I just plug away on any 'ol windows machine they park me in front of. Maybe it's a firewall issue or something.
Okay so you got me to check, it's the 2000 flavor, not XP.
Posted by: Mahatma Kane Jeeves | May 18, 2005 at 06:27 AM
I was first three times in a row, one day last week.

MKJ - That's the best double post ever!!!
Posted by: Darth Curt | May 18, 2005 at 07:02 AM
MKJ, your reactions to your double posts are funnier than your posts. And your posts are way funny to begin with. I think it's all part of a big plot to direct all available attention at yourself.

Oh the maddening plague double-post!
We click once, yet we get trouble most.
Some choose to deride us,
Others try to guide us.
At least Dave and judi aren’t snubful hosts.

Fat Ducks have no fear of "enterobacteriacea and aerobic colony counts". We also scoff in the general direction of "borderline" levels of listeria.
I scoff. Scoff! Scoff Scoff! Scoff Scoff Scoff!

OK, MOTW:
Step #2 - do you have the horizontal blue bar that slowly moves when you press post, or the little green vertical individual thingys?
MOTTO for today for El and MOTW: We will prevail!
Posted by: Eleanor | May 18, 2005 at 07:32 AM
Sooooo Sorry!
Notice: Please amend above post to substitute MKJ for MOTW. Thank you.
Full disclosure: I got a B minus in "initials" in elementary school.

Eleanor - I got a B minus in "initials" in elementary school.
Yes, but you get an A+ in helpfulness and humor - not necessarily in that order.

Thank you MKJ - however as a female member of the human race, might I politely say that I would prefer to have by roses deliverd by a similiarly dressed (or un, as the case may be) male rather than a female - NTTAWWT!

BTW, that was a clever simulated double-post. (Don't tell Eleanor I said that.)
