BANANA BTO
Caution: We know there is no better combination than bananas and badgers, but if you click this link, please be aware you will never ever ever get this song out of your head.
(Thanks to Jeremy Martin, who notes: This item most likely contains the only time you will ever hear the word "bananular" used as a song lyric.)

It's more entertaining than Professor Monotone!

i really like the graphic for "it's not bologna"
(i still have to sing the Oscar Mayer song to spell "b-o-l-o-g-n-a").

Someone observed recently (here?) that it's a lot easier to start spelling banana than it is to stop.

This ties two big DaveBlog stories together, and may cause some people problems today, so DO NOT read further if easily disturbed.
Actual Mannilow Lyric:
(Copa Copacabana) (Copacabana, ahh ahh ahh ahh)
(Ahh ahh ahh ahh Copa Copacabana)
(Talking Havana have a banana)
(Music and passion...always the fash--shun)
AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

*zips in*
And to think I would have missed that if I hadn't gotten high speed - life was passing me by and I didn't even know it!
*zips out*

Ok... I may be a dork for saying this but I liked the song. If I were technologically advanced enough to have a phone that ringtone would work on, it'd be there. Maybe not the whole song but the first part at least.
I like goofy songs, though if hunting season were open on Barney scat, I'd have my license and gun handy. :)
Now if you all will excuse me, I'm off to google 'Raffi banana phone'.

Schade - That's a new "remix" of Weebl's original badger cartoon. It seems to my ear a little more manic, and there's a third repeat of the shroom before the snake. The original is surely one of the most inspired moments in the entire history of, if not the world, at least the 'net.

Eleanor, step AWAY from the high speed with your arms elevated, and kindly walk towards the... no, wait, put a little speed in your pocket first for me later, and I might just let you go after a few routine questions.

pogo: the phrase about it being easier to start spelling banana than it is to stop is a Pratchettism. Terry Pratchett is also the author of the phrase: "Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life."
