PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE BAND BEHIND THE CURTAIN
They are the great and powerful Fraction of the Rock Bottom Remainders.
Tonight at Scotty's Landing from 6-10 PM and tomorrow at the Miami Book Fair from 5-7 PM. Both events are free to those who love badoptionally-talented musicians.

Didn't Dave get there First

6-10pm? Is there an early-bird special at Scotty's Landing?
Posted by: Drew | November 12, 2004 at 06:20 AM
Drew - It should at the very least be a fraction of the cost.

Free! Whoa, watch out for the homeless wino contingent. I understand they're (not their) big Remainders fans. Comes right after Wild Irish Rose.

aw, shucks! I wish I could be there! Did you see the menu? They have "All kinds of Ceasars" for only 8.75! And Snickers Pie! But then again, they don't have lychee flavored pencil jelly for appetizers...
Refined Gentleman: "Pardon me, waiter. To start out I'd like the Bald Eagle Ceasar Salad. For dinner, the house wine and Grilled Dolphin."
"And will sir be having dessert tonight."
"Hmm...let's see...OH! SNICKERS PIE! YAY!"
I think my favorite though would be that you can get Gatorade.

Oh, too cool, I can sail my yacht right up to the restaurant! (if I had one.)

Am I the only one disturbed that they offer DOLPHIN on the menu??? Lychee Pencil Jelly I can handle, Dolphin... not so much.
SAVE FLIPPER!!!!

Good choice of establishments, Dave. This is where my emotional support mules got married when they were in town for the Cher farewell tour's third pass through Coconut Grove.
The front porch dining is superb, but don't get snockered and fall in the bay like I did.

I believe there is a kind of fish called a dolphin which isn't actually the Flipper-variety. That, presumably, is what they're serving.

DJ & Tha Weasel...
Hmm... Crazy Floridians. Here in Texas we beleive in calling things by their names. Thats why I called 'em Crazy Floridians. Thats their real name.
As to the Dolphins - why not just but Mahi-Mahi on the menu then?
I can just imagine what happens when some poor Flipper-obsessed kid goes there....
"Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
FREE FLIPPER!

Hey Entertainment...STAY AWAY FROM RIDLEY!!!
Posted by: julietine | November 12, 2004 at 11:22 AM
Best thing about Scotty's is that there's a really nice restaurant right next door. So we can all walk down the dock and make faces through the window at the people who payed $25 for a glass of wine.
Not that I would ever do that.

Just, if you do a long thing like the 'o' bit you have to put in spaces or it will stretch the margins. Trust me, you don't want djtony paddling you. Or maybe you do.
Judi, you might want to warn Ridley. Or not.

Me and Ridley going on boat tours Miami FL, eating fresh dolphin and him singing me "Sludge Wedding" as the sun sets, can a girl hope for too much?.....
