WHY WE FAVOR MANDATORY REGISTRATION OF ASSAULT SNAKES

It's getting bad out there.

First?

First?

Registration of deadly snakes is good. But a neighborhood Snake Alert would be even better.

I want to know about my neighbor's registered Boa Constrictor BEFORE it escapes and strangles me in my bathtub.

Way to own that Third, Tina!

Can somebody please tell me why anyone would want to keep poisonous snakes for pets??? I just don't get it. Well, really, I wouldn't want to keep any snake for a pet, which may explain my lack of understanding here.

Tina - point taken. I have a pair of cats and one of them has repeatedly thrown herself accross my path and tripped me. dun dun dun...(it's really tough to type creepy music sounds)

I'd have let the snakes burn in the building.

iolite, try this: do do do do, do do do do

Naah, I guess you're right.

I'm surprised no one pointed out that Snake Menagerie wbagnfarb.

Terrorist Alert:

Now the bastards are using suicidal Austrians.

The Suicidal Austrian Snake Wranglers wbagnfarb.

It is the cobras who are the real victims in all of this...
*wipes away tear*

"Included in the Sydney seizure were three crocodiles, boa constrictors, death adders, taipans, red bellied black snakes, illegal corn snakes, pythons, exotic turtles, geckos, frogs and lizards."

What, weren't there any legal corn snakes there?

Sydney Seizure wbagnfarb

Tina - My other cat also gives licks with the odd, um, nibble thrown in. Is it possible we're being tenderized????

Jeff - thanks for the musical assistance - note I have given up typing the music stuff, but if you listen closely, I am sure that you too can here the screeching violins that accompanied my comment to Tina :)

that would of course be 'hear', not 'here'.

Well, I don't know, I just visited my brother in Florida. It sounds like the usual contents of his backyard.

That's why I live in South Dakota. The poisonous things here rattle politely before attacking.

*Holds up an appeasement offering to Reed the Viking* Here Reed have a genuine South Dakota Diamondback. Look, he's wagging his tail! He likes you!

iolite - took me a while to compose this...Dum de dum dum....

or, maybe *ominous music* ?

Reed, go bite yourself (if the snake doesn't).

It's jest like all yo bleedin' heart librals who want us to register ever dang thin' that mite be slightly dangerous somtimes. A lot mo people ar killd by cars than by snakes or guns or knives or whatever! Mebbe we should be registerin' all them automobiles...

Well, all the Corn Snakes were underage.
As for the music, how about:
do
do do ; and repeat?
do
I'm just glad I only have to register the car that runs - the rest, up on blocks in my front yard, are the home to my menagerie of Black Widows, Brown Widows, and some Australian Redlegs (imported at great expense, I mught add)

curses - it took out all my careful spacing!

From the first artical:
"one of the officers shot the man in the thigh after he began swinging the cobras at the patrolmen"

That reminds me of the lyrics to the song "Pepper":
Polly caught a bullet
But it only hit his leg
Well it should have been a better shot
And got him in the head
