cubanpatriot

If the world can forgive fidel all of his murders, then they should be able to forgive Posada for his action, if he committed them, which nobody has been able to prove to date.

Patriot, you get on a plane and have it vaporized from under you at 35 thousand feet. Will he walk??? No,he will ride on the Parade Marshalls car at the next Calle Ocho event..He will sit at Versalles and be welcomed by little old ladies that dont even have any idea of the man behind the handshake...Im not forgiving anyone. We have our courts here...You got the $19.99 all the years you can get,or you got the Super Deluxe Revolving Door Court for,for,for..what you got? He will walk among us again..Hardliners will see to that. Now,if we can move back time and go 2 clicks to the left, then NO! He wont walk..

Cubanpatiot's sentiment is unfortunately not a particularily isolated or extreme one in Miami. Check out the comments at babalu blog for a sample of the pro-terrorist opinions of our fine Cuban exile community.

They hide behind the fact that Posada was not convicted by a military court in Venezuela, when it's military was a corrupt US appendix. Nevermind that the US government has all the evidence needed to put him behind bars for that plane bombing. The actual bombers were his employees (just a coincidence I'm sure). And nevermind the other crimes he's already confessed to - bombing hotels, running drugs, bombing civillians in Central America and trying to bomb a lecture hall in Panama just a few years ago. There is no question Posada is the most prolific terrorist to be born in the Western Hemisphere. The only reason he is not in jail is because he was working for the US Government most of the time.

The main action in this case happened months ago when the Bush Administration declined to label him a "terrorist," even as the presiding judge basically begged the Government to do so. A sad day for America.

If Posada-Carrilles is freed hopefully a good Samaritan will shoot him on the balls and that piece of s--t will die a slow painful death. Filth like him and that c--t Kathleen Cardone don,t deserve to live!

curt

Posada-Carrilles may be set free while 5 Cuban nationals are languishing in U.S jails for simply trying to protect their country from terrorists like pOSADA-Carrilles and his ilk.

Ziva

I guess the BTTR murder victims don't count? Why is that? Because they were mostly Cuban? Fuck you, you racist hijo de puta piece of shit.

A killer will be walking our streets..The U.S.,whatever credibility we have left will be lost in the world stage..Simple! Hes a bonefide card carrying terrorist, license to kill. Even if,lets say that he did it to another plane in favor of the Cuban Goverment..I would call him the same, and would fight for his arrest. NO SIDES TO THIS. the man is nothing to be proud of.

Pancho

Lets hope the government actually DOES let the piece of shit go. That way Cuban operatives in Miami can give him the kind of justice that he deserves.

curt

Ziva, the BTTR pilots got exactly what they deserved. They were warned repeatedly by the Cuban and the U.S. government not to fly into Cuban airspace. Too bad they didnt get the chief gusano, Basulto.

victor

Ziva, cmon out Ziva..We want to play...Your just a cheerleader for Babalu dear..Cmon out where you cant censor what we say. Let them know how you and all your blog friends over at Mankamp censor everything I sent..How you and your POSADA LOVING fans keep me out of your blogs for saying what I want to say...Ummm,does that sound familiar.Let me say what I want..Where have I heard that b4?? Hey Curt,

This is someone who thought was your friend.
I took you out in a limo for your bday (greedy American of Cuban descent that I am). Don't go postal on me but you and Manny were extreme ends of the spectrum. Being in the middle I I've got to be right time 'cause you thought you had the absolute truth (much like pretty everyone... except me ... a cognizant arguement can swayme...what a concept!

At this point in time it is insane that we are still as separated as always. Fidel Castro and Posada-Carriles are both murderers in different sides of the political spectrum. One act of murder does not justify another. I guess as long as we keep going this way without being critical of our own selves, without analyzing our political side, without letting ourselves heal Fidel will still win. This exile community has very little to be proud of in regards of Cuba. We have failed badly. He is still there.

Manuel A. Tellechea

Oh, yes, leftside, there's a lot of "hiding behind the fact" that Posada has never been found guilty in any court. In fact, he has been found innocent by both civilian and military courts. But, of course, that doesn't matter because justice to you means obtaining the verdict you want and not what the evidence supports.

Innocence, as you know, is not a defense in Castro's Cuba. A verdict of "innocent" can be reversed by Castro and the defendant tried again and again until the satisfactory sentence is obtained. Then, of course, the judges will be tried as accomplices for trying to set the man free. It has happened many times in Cuba and is already happening in Castro's Venezuelan satellite. And you, leftside, couldn't be happier.

Manuel A. Tellechea

Curt, and the Five Spies are going to be languishing there for a long, long time. Maybe you would like to nominate them for the Nobel Peace Prize; they would fit right in with the likes of Rigoberta Menchú and Adolfo Pérez Esquival, whose ties to the Castro regime are no less "complex."

victor

Hail to the PIG OF PIGS!!! fOR HE WALKS AMONG US....porkers unite your PIG is headed to the SWINE BAR.

Luis Moro - Filmmaker

The problem with Posada's case is we only know of him killing 73 innocent people in a plane.

If he would of killed 74, maybe one of the politicians of "The Bermuda Triangle" (Ros-Lehtinen and Diaz-Balart squared), would do something with justice in mind not selfishness.

Of course if Posada was a black man, he would of disappeared years ago. Even if he just looked at the plane.

It's just amazing that the community in Miami would allow this guy to live there. God I love Miami, but who the hell can be this guys neighbor.

Oh and here we go…, innocent is not a defense in Cuba, but Castro does it why can’t we blah blah blah.

Lift the embargo on past based thinking.

“Viva La F.U. to the embargo, Castro and The Bermuda Triangle for supporting both.”
