A teenager who ran away from his father's West Miami-Dade home seven months ago and flew to Cuba, where his mother lives, returned to Miami on Sunday.
But the boy received a less-than-warm welcome from his still-seething father, who turned him away at the front door as a news crew from WLTV-Univisión 23 captured the confrontation.

A deadbeat Cuban exile father throws his 15 year old son out on the street and threatens to call the police on him. All because his son dared to travel to Cuba to see the wife and daughters that this man abandoned and condemned to poverty.
What a heartwarming story.

Maybe it was the fact that his kid stole his credit card and bought more than $400 of airline tickets with it that pissed him off. Maybe it's the fact that the kid is a manipulating son of a bitch (probably literally). Anyway the "deadbeat" Dad's actions lasted all of what, 1 day?

If my kids stole my credit cards and bought stuff with it, I wouldn't be to overwhelmed to see him either! Besides, I'm sure when he got to Cuba, it wasn't the paradise he was expecting. No Playstation, no air conditioning, no Nintendo, no shopping malls with the latest fashions, etc. And don't tell me a 15 year old boy doesn't care about these things.

Maybe the kids from Manhattan's "elite" Beacon School would like to adopt the little Cuban waif.
