Cuban Nature: Politics-Free Exhibit

Until March 28, famed nature photographer Clyde Butcher will be displaying nature pictures he took in Cuba. No people. No politics. Just natural beauty. The display is at the ART+ Gallery at Merrick Park in Coral Gables. Butcher, known for his striking black and white photos of Florida wetlands, took the Cuba photographs in some of the most remote and mountainous locations of the island during trips in 2002 and 2003. A couple of the pictures look like they were shot in the Everglades. Absolutely amazing.
